De’dria’s life story is a powerful testimony to God’s ability to bring healing and restoration through even the most painful circumstances. By the age of twenty, she had endured immense struggles; physical abandonment by her father, molestation, emotional abuse, homelessness, and the challenges of single motherhood. Yet, in December 2011, during one of the darkest seasons of her life, De’dria experienced a transformative encounter with God. That moment forever changed the trajectory of her life, reshaping the way she viewed herself, her past, and her future.

I encourage every mother, regardless of the season, to choose healing. For when a mother heals, she releases healing over everything entrusted to her.
As a young mother, emotionally broken and desperate for change, De’dria learned, step by step, not to look back but to keep pressing forward. Through faith and resilience, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2013 and a Master of Arts in Public Administration in 2016. Yet, these accomplishments were only the beginning of her journey.
Now, at 34, a devoted mother of two, respected community servant, and published author, De’dria has witnessed God’s faithfulness unfold in powerful ways. With a heart full of purpose and passion, she shares her testimony with girls and women who have faced similar hardships; bringing a message of healing, restoration, and hope to mothers walking through the very storms she once survived.
